Question for you lovely ladies!

So, I got the faintest line on an IC tonight at 7pm.(I have no idea what made me test at night LOL)...  I am going to test again in the morning with FMU with an FRER. I just want to ask something before I get my hopes up!

Did anyone here get a faint line at night, then a negative when you tested again.....but then you ended up with another positive test the next day?!

I just don't want to wake up and not see a line, and realize that I got so excited over nothing.

was it the same urine like from a cup or did you test again when you had to pee again? if you just tested a second time with new urine it probably didn't have enough HCG. Good luck tomorrow. I recognize you from lurking on TTGP. Hope this is it for you.

pretty sure a line is a line - no matter how faint.  out of the gazillion tests I've taken, once there was a line, it never went away. Congrats!

edit - I take that back.. the line on the dollar store tests came back negative for a couple days while the First Response tests remained positive.  If you tested negative right after the first positive, your pee was probably just too watered down.  Good luck!

I went through a similar thing and I know this isn't what you're asking, but I had a BFP the next day. 

I used a Wondfo strip from Amazon at night and got a line so faint I thought I was hallucinating. Plus DH was away until mid-morning the next day, so I was alone and had no one to look.

I did 2 more Wondfos the next morning with FMU. Faint lines, but darker. Dipped a Wondfo in water to see if what I was seeing was just where the line was supposed to be. The water strip was totally white.

DH picked up a FRER on his way home, and with my second urine (is that a term?) it was positive.

I have not tested again, because I have been drinking a lot of water tonight, so I am sure my urine is diluted.

I will test in the morning, and I HOPE AND PRAY I get to join you ladies!

im going with its a bfp but def test tomorrow. my line was soo faint and then i ran out and bought a digital test and it came back pregnant..if you can grab a digital..theres no line guessing..i peed in a cup in the a.m and did another test strip then ran out and peed at around noon time on the digital..good luck. def looking forward to an update:) gl

I hate to be the party pooper, but here goes.

I see the line, only it's not the kind of line you're looking for. First of all, it's too thin, and it's a litttttle too close to the control line. Did you move the test before the three/five minute time? It really looks like to me that the ink pooled after where the positive line should be.

I hope I'm wrong though and this is really your BFP!!

I was just going to say what jodyrm said but she beat me to it. I've had a couple Wondfos that looked like that, and they were faulty tests. The line is too far over and too thin. I'm really sorry.

I had the same thing happen! Mine was darker, but I still questioned it. I took like 4 days of cheapies before I just went out and bought a FRER...BFP that showed up in seconds.

I see a faint line in the pic you posted on the TTGP board. I took 3 cheapies with this pregnancy and had VERY paint lines with all of them. So a few days later I took the FR tests and all 3 were positive. GL but it looks like a BFP to me, congrats!
