Anyone taking medrol?

Anyone taking Medrol as part of an IVF protocol? I started mine today, but it  leaves the most awful taste in my mouth. Ugh, I still taste it. Did anyone else experience this? Is there anything you did to make it better?

Hi- yes I am taking it twice a day so I do it with breakfast and dinner.  Doesn't seem to bother me with food.  Good luck!!

Yes I took it for both my ivf cycles and will be taking it again this cycle. I don't remember having trouble with it or having a bad taste in my mouth.

I took medrol and had a bad taste in my mouth. I just tried to swallow them as quickly as possible to avoid as much of the taste as possible.

I took my first one this evening and that is some nasty tasting stuff! I tried to get it down as fast as possible, but could still taste it's nastiness!!! Icky! Now I feel nauseous and am assuming it doesn't sit well with my tummy. Boo

Yes! It tastes gross.?

I drop it in the very back of my throat while my head is tilted back. I chase it with a cracker. It is gross!?

Medrol's gross. I drink it with something yummy, like orange juice. I also drop it straight to the back of my throat so I don't taste it. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips. The worst part is that my pharmacy only had 4mg tablets - so I have to take 4! I will try the OJ/cracker combo today!

i put it in a spoonful of chocolate pudding and then swallow the whole spoonful.  I used to just throw it back and hope for the best but the nurse suggested the pudding thing and you honestly can't tast it at all if you use even just a moderate amount of pudding.  HTH!
