Beta #4

It's up to 314 (19dpo) from 114(17dpo)!  I'm crazy-excited it's still more than doubling, but also concerned because I feel like it's still a low number overall...and I may be really over analyzing this but I foundt his calculator that tells you the half life (or doubling time) for the betas.  From my first beta to my second, the half life was 1.14 days, between my second and third beta it was 1.24 days and from my third to my fourth beta it was 1.36 days.

The number is rising, but it's still low, and it appears to be slowing down...am I freaking out for no reason or does anyone else find this odd?

Re: Beta #4

  • I can't answer any of your questions but I hope things continue to go up and that you just have a late implater :)

I'll keep thinking good thoughts for you!

  • I am no authority on this at all but it has to be a good sign that it is more than doubling! I would be super nervous too, but you are pregnant and all signs point to good from what I can see!

  • Thanks girls!  My first US will be on September 1st...they feel sorry for me because the whole beta mix up situation, so they are getting me in a bit early to take a look arround :)  If I'm doing the math right, I'd be 5w5d at that point, so hopefully we'll see a sac!
  • Congrats, that's a great number! Hoping you have a wonderful u/s next week!

  • Tab, from what I have seen on betabase.info, it definitely looks like the doubling rate slows down as time goes on and you reach bigger betas. Sounds like you are knocked up! :)

  • Yeah!!! keep doubling beta!
  • I totally missed your BFP - CONGRATS!!!

  • Whoa, I've been off the boards for a few days and just came back on to see that your betas are still rising--I'm so happy for you! I don't have any answers to your beta questions, but I really hope this works out!

  • That's a super duper fast doubling time. I wouldn't be worried that it's slowing a little. You are still doubling much faster than they want you to double. Best of luck!!! Hope your numbers keep doubling.
