I noticed that a few people have been asking on other posts to see completed registries when they have them. I'm a first timer, so my registry isn't perfect by any means, but it's been done for a while now so I figured I'd share. I hope it helps those of you who were asking, and if anyone has any advice for me about mine, don't hesitate to share!
Re: Here are my registries, for those that care.
Thanks for the advice! I already have the crib, so I'm just gonna have to stick with it.
DH and I picked out that stroller in store. Since then, I have heard a lot of things about it. I do think it would be better to get a Graco one, but DH can't "find one he likes". We fell in love with the look and ease of use of the Eddie Bauer one before doing any research, so now it's hard to convince ourselves to find a different one. But, I know it would be safer, so we'll definitely find another one eventually. I'm leaving the Eddie Bauer one on there until we find a new one. IF someone happens to buy it before we take it off the registry, we'll just return it for the one we want once the time comes.
I will very very rarely be pumping. I am a SAHM so will be breastfeeding 98% of the time and only pumping the other 2%. I actually went to a breastfeeding class. A lactation consultant sat down with me and discussed my needs and helped me pick out the pump, so I'm confident that it will do the job for me.
I was very careful to pick the correct bunting cover. As we'll be having LO in Germany, I know it will be cold for a while and we would need a cover.
Thanks again for all the advice. I'll try to convince DH to go stroller shopping again this weekend!
MelC -- Can I borrow you for a weekend?!?! I need a walking encyclopedia when I go "registering" in a few months. Honestly -- such good info!! Nice post.
