NIFR: WWYD? (baby shower mentioned)

So, DW and I are throwing a baby shower for SIL ( dont even ask how I got roped into doing this). Last weekend when me, DW and SIL were are Target, she saw these DIY invites. Nice, not to expensive and they are so easy! Well she gave us a list of people she wanted to invite and said that her husband would send us another list with address and more people to invite. 

It has been a week and he has not sent them!

How do I send invites to people I have no addresses!

Worms, your so smart! I text him last night to remind him and he said he would send it last night. It never showed up

I agree - tell hubs that you need the list by such a date so people have enough time to RSVP.

Send him another text today and say if you don't have it by the end of the day he'll have to invite his people himself! It drives me crazy when people don't get things done in a timely manner. Especially when you are doing them a favor!

Since he didn't respond to your text last night I would email SIL and BIL and say that you really want this shower to be special for SIL and want to make sure that all the people she wants there have enough time to plan so you really need the addresses by x date and time.  Really lay it on thick about how you want it to be perfect for her, etc.  Trust me once she reads how much you want it to be special for her she will get BILs butt in gear.

Then I would have to lie. I dont really care about the baby shower and I feel like it a gift grab. She already has one son who just turned 4. She was convinced they were having a girl so she GOT RID OF BABY STUFF then found out she was having another boy.

DW said she is going to text her sister and ask her about it again. I think what I might do is, make them, stuff them in envelopes, give them to the family that we see all the time and give the rest to BIL and let him handle it.

LOL!  I figured you would have to lie, but it is a means to an end and based on your description of SIL I figured she would respond to flattery ;-).  I know I know I have no shame .
