I was kind of on the upswing weight wise the last two times so I didn't pay attention to weight gain in relation to the meds. This time around I've recently lost 25 lbs and want to lose about 10 more. Have any of you had issues with or noticed weight gain associated with the stimulation meds?

Re: 3rd IVF attempt - meds and weight gain
I gained about 5 pounds with each my first 2 IVF attempts - so 10 pounds in 6 months!
I am now on South Beach and haven't put the weight on this time with my 3rd IVF attempt.
I also take very high dosages of meds with my IVF cycles, which I am sure doesn't help.
I haven't stepped on a scale since I started stims. I don't want the additional stress or pressure to become an issue while I stim. But my clothes are still fitting, so I have to be doing better this time.
i personally noticed no weight gain on the fert meds (i did menopur, puregon and orgalutron). i was also pretty anxious though and was not eating lunch muc and small dinners b/c i was very stressed and worried. i don't know if that had an effect, but it's certainly possible.
I gained 20 pounds over 4 years while I was doing infertility treatments, but the weight gain wasn't b/c of the meds (well, some of it was probably water weight/bloat), but more b/c of lifestyle changes. I was more active pre-IF and was in the gym at least 5x a week. Once I started cycling, I had to give up the strenuous workouts, was on bedrest a lot, and I became a major couch potato. I also ate terribly (whatever I wanted essentially). I think as long as you continue to eat healthy you shouldn't gain much weight (other than bloat/water weight).
