I totally just did it.... (NIFR)

Hung a sign in our kitchen that says "your mother does not work her. Kindly clean up after your mess. Thank you"

I felt lame doing it. But there was spilt coffee creamer, sugar, dirty spoons from coffee on the counter. Seriously people. I know our office is ragged looking, the kitchen is nothing to write home about but clean up your dang mess!

    I had to do the same thing at my old job.  I even had to put a sign in the bathroom about cleaning up after messes, because for some reason, people felt it was too hard to flush toilets or walk a foot to the trash can.  I would hate to see what some of these peoples houses looked like!

    I know what you mean. People in my office think there is a maid to clean up their mess! We have a dishwasher in our office kitchen and people still don't take the time to clean up their dishes. For goodness sakes, all you have to do is open door snd insert dish. Good for you!! Hopefully it will catch their eye and make them think twice about leaving their dirty mess.

    I hate to imagine what their kitchen's at home look like!! How annoying! Good for you!

    Jennifer TTC #1 Dx PCOS 2009 Apr, Aug, and Sept tried clomid cycles.... BFN. Oct...DH SA results were normal. Me...HSG - left tube was clear, right tube was slightly blocked. Dec - Clomid #4 200mg Feb 2010 - IUI #1 200mg Clomid = BFN. June 2010 - IUI #2 200mg Clomid = BFN. March 2011 - IUI #3 w/ injectables = BFN (1st & last with RE, moving on to IVF).     When I first read your post, I thought you'd put the sign up at your house! lol.  But, yeah, we had to put a sign like that up in our breakroom at work a couple of months ago. This one lady had been on an all-veg juice diet and kept leaving green rim stains all over. Totally gross!

    Yeah - our kitchen isnt the prettiest. But still. how hard is it to grab a papertowl and wipe up your mess. I rarely go in there, I sometimes crave a cup of coffee.

     

    You know -- i could do the same thing at home with both DH and BIL living there. I had an intervention with BIL last night as he leaves his fruit stickers everwhere. I was fed up!
