Oh. Jesus.

H is in danger of losing his job.  His company is going under quickly and they're cutting people left and right.

He made a suggestion.

To open an in-home daycare.  That the two of us could run together.

    'Cuz every mom wants to take on a few more snotty-nosed, stinky-butt toddlers, right?  

    My MIL suggest that after I had the twins I should start watching a couple more kids for some extra money. Um no.  4 is plenty.   

    Tell him to keep brainstorming....all his other ideas have to be better.

    I thought he meant that *I* should run a daycare and I told him I can barely handle my own.  Then he said "well, I was thinking we could do a family one and run it together."

    I think he may have been drinking...this was coming from the man who starts to get hives on a 3-day weekend because he's been stuck in the house with the kids too long.

    Im going to keep my fingers crossed that his job does not disappear- what a stressful situation! (the daycare idea could be cute, though! what if?)
