I have never been one to have them often, maybe a couple a year, but for the past few weeks my head has been pounding! They will not go away, and it hurts to even move my head.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Have you been taking anything? I spoke with my OB and he said it's just from the hormonal change, and that I can take Tylenol, but I'm too scared to. I just don't love the idea of taking medicine while pregnant. Freaks me out.

I have been taking tylenol occasionally when they are too bad. havent taken it every day, but I tried the pills and they werent doing anything, so I got the liquid tylenol and that has helped.
my doc gave me a list of the medicines I can take for certain things (ie. heartburn, gas, headaches....) and told me they only recommend not using them in the 1st tri. so.... I think its ok.

Yes they are pretty severe for me too. I have to sit down and actually put a cold compress on my head and just relax for a bit. I also have a cup of coffee (per my OB) because the caffeine will take it away, Tylenol isn't working for me.
Same here. I've had them everyday for over a week now. I only took tylenol on Saturday when it got pretty bad and we had plans that night. Didn't touch it though. A bottle of coke fixes it every time though.

Being used to headaches I was hoping not to have any during pregnancy. Nope, I have been waking up with them. I was in the emergency room at 10 weeks because I couldn't take it anymore. I am trying to drink more water hoping that may help but I take Tylenol to make them bearable.
I am so glad others are dealing with this. Well, not glad but good to know I am not alone. I would get a headache once in a blue moon pre-pregnancy, but now they come daily around noon and last the rest of the day. Tylenol does nothing and I can't do caffeine after noon because I won't be able to sleep. And sleep usually helps. I hope they go away soon...

Yeah, they just started a few days ago. They lasted all weekend, then took a day off, then came back yesterday. It doesn't even help me to try and nap because the pressure of the pillow against my head hurts. Booooo

I get them daily these days... then again, I will take headache anytime over nausea!!
My Ob said to take Tylenol. I am drinking 1/2 cup of coffee to get the blood flow going. That usually helps lessen the headache.
