2nd trimester=feel like crap

During my 1st trimester I hardly felt like I was really preg...Only was a little tired but nothing major and no morning sickness. All of a sudden I think about food and I want to dry heave. I could hardly keep my breakfast down all week, and going grocery shopping was a nightmare with the smells of the seafood dept, and deli. I called my doctors and she said well you were one of the lucky ones but it can hit at any time. I thought this was suppose to be the honeymoon period. Im hoping this is just a phase and that I'll feel better in a couple weeks. Excuse me while I try not to barf. Sad

  • I am with you but I felt like crap in the 1st trimester also.  So frustrating.

  • I'm with you.  I felt great all through the first tri, and now that second is here, I'm feeling nauseous more often, have insane heartburn and headaches, and am exhausted.

  • Mind if I join the "feel like crap" club?

"Oh it'll be so much better in your 2nd trimester"

  • Meeee too.... :( What I love about it is the constant reminder from DH that I'm supposed to feel fine now.  Every time he reads a pregnancy book he says, "it says here that you are supposed to have more energy now and feel better..."

    Thanks hubby...lol

  • I'm so glad you posted this!  Well, not in the way that I'm happy to hear you feel like crap...just that I'm not alone in this.  I had pretty much no m/s in the first tri (which I guess technically I'm still in for another day).  The past couple of days have been really rough.  I was at the driving range last night and several times had to turn away and squat down and just focus on no losing it.  I'm working from home today because I can barely move without having "issues", so driving a car at 70 mph on the highway to work...not advisable.

  • yeah I didn't have any trouble in the 1st trimester really, but the 2nd one hit me hard! I'm not throwing up that much, but I can't stand the smell or look of beef right now, I can't really make it through the day without a nap and I'm having daily nosebleeds. Yea for pregnancy!
