is this a baby I feel?

I think I can feel the baby-not I'm just not sure!  I woke up last night from some light twinges, almost like quick muscle spasms in my middle lower belly.  Now today I feel some thumps right at the top of my belly button....BUT, can that be the same thing?  That's what's throwing me off.  I feel like i wouldn't feel anything that high at my 17th week.

could be!  i was about 15 weeks and was feeling somethings about belly button level and thought there was no way my ute was up that high.  At my gender u/s (elective 3d) that i did at 15 weeks she showed me that i DID have my ute that high and that i was feeling baby up near belly button!  So its entirely possible!

I've totally been getting those same muscle spasms at night, almost every night.  I hope that it's movement for us both, exciting!

i am starting to think it was just gas or something, i haven't felt anything since.  BOO
