Cautiously introducing myself

Hi Ladies!  Had beta #1 yesterday and came back with a result of 82 at 15dpo.  Does this seem low?  It seems so after seeing everyone's betas in their siggies.  Beta #2 scheduled for Thursday.  We have had several losses so I'm just holding my breath at this point.  Look forward to "meeting" everyone!

    Welcome.  I have had losses as well and know how scary it is in the first few weeks.  Your beta is fine though.  Also the main thing is that it doubles, not what the first number was.  I have seen a bunch of ladies on here with much lower betas than yours go on to have healthy pregnancies.  Congrats and good luck with beta number 2.

    Congratulations and welcome!

    Was this an IUI cycle? If it was, then the time of implantation might have something to do with the first beta number. What's most important is the doubling time. You can plug your betas in to betabase.info to calculate the doubling time. The goal doubling time is 48-72 hours.

    I had two losses before this pregnancy so I do understand the anxiety that comes from that. I pretty much didn't believe this one was here to stay until last week after hearing a HB at 13.5 weeks. Even now I'm still fighting the negative thoughts. Hang in there hon :)

    My clinic liked to see 50 or above on 14DPO so I think your number is right on, I know it's scary after losses.  I hope you get great doubling numbers and stick around here for a long time.

    Congrats I am so happy to see you back here and under such wonderful circumstances too. My first beta was only 54 at 14dpo so chin up.

    Congratulations!!!!!!!  I think your beta is fine.  Lots of people (myself included) don't get betas until much later.

    Welcome!  I am sorry for your losses.  No, I don't think that beta is low - mine was in the 40s at 15dpo.

    Yes, we did femara/trigger/iui this cycle and it looks like it worked!
