I am not pregnant yet. I am actually hoping that by talking about it and feeling excited af will show.

My cycle has been nuts, So I doubt I am pregnant.

Savannah - husband and I both love this name.

1st- what do you think??

2nd- my sil while preg said she loved this name. my DH'S  brother , however, said he hated it and vetoed it as a name. They ended up having a boy , so it didnt matter. Plus they brought up a few other names both boy and girl. My question- would it be terrible if we use it? I bet she wont be happy... but even though childish, we plan not to tell them our name (if it is a girl someday) just so we can have it without her trying to talk us out of it or make us feel guilty.

any thoughts...or maybe a better way about going about it... if someday we are blessed with children?? (sorry that this is long)

I say keep it on your list! No one owns a name, especially if they won't ever be able to use it!!!

With that being said. You may even find something else you and your DH love more between now and then. But definitely keep it on the list.

It's NMS, but there's nothing morally wrong with keeping it on your list.

If I wasn't able to use one of my favorite names, which I am not... I would be happy to see it on a friend or relative's baby.

It wouldn't be terrible if you used it. Her DH vetoed it once, even if they got pregnant with a girl later on, he'd probably veto it again. 

Also, it's my step-daughter's name so I think it's just lovely.
