RE canceled my FET cycle :(

I went in for a lining check today and the doctor doing the ultrasound says to the nurse "hmm, can you see if Dr. H can come take a look at this?".  Well, it turns out that there is a spot on the ultrasound that looks like it could be a fairly large polyp, and according to Dr. H, "it's right in the spot where we would want to put the embryos".

 So now I have to wait for my period, schedule a saline sonogram to see if it really is a polyp (it probably is, I had a large one removed last year), then have it removed via hysteroscopy if it is.

I'm so frustrated! Every time I turn around, I have to wait some more.  I'm still at work but I'm going to have a huge margarita later.

    I am so sorry! You must be so disappointed. I hope you can get that polyp taken care of soon and get back to cycling. And enjoy that margarita ;)

    Ugh, that stinks!  I'm so sorry you are dealing with this, but I'm glad they caught it before you transferred your precious embryos.  Good luck to you!

    It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

    Bummer! So sorry to hear about the possible polyp. On a brighter note, they caught it now, than later. Asking for a "fast forward button" for you....I know I wish for one often. ((hugs))

    I'm very sorry to hear that your cycle was cancelled.  I hope that you can get back on track soon.

    Stopped BCPs December 2008 TTC since June 2009 6 unsuccessful Clomid cycles Dx Annovulatory due to PCOS January 2010 DH-perfect 4 unsuccessful IUIs Began Lupron July 7 for first IVF IVF cancelled; overstimulation and coasting lead to huge drop in E2 New testing with an Endocrinologist...perhaps a new diagnosis... So, not PCOS but Hashimoto's Thyroiditis November 2010 After a looong break, started seeing a new RE. Gearing up for IVF 1.2. Beta 1=197!! BabyFruit Ticker image

    I'm sooo sorry that your FET cycle has been canceled.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery so you can try again very soon.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.
