NPAIFR: My dog is really sick

in Pregnant after IF

Awful diahhrea and vomiting.  The vet gave him a few shots - antibiotics and something to settle his stomach but its not working. 

 I have to call back at 4 and if he's not better, he'll have to go to the hospital and get an IV. 

They think he sniffed or ate something outside and might have salmanella poisoning. 

My poor baby!

    Poor thing! I'm so sorry. It's so hard when our furbabies are sick. I hope he get's better soon and doesn't need hospitalization!

    poor thing! my furbaby had something like that and it was actually a relief when they kept her for a few hours to hydrate her by IV, then we knew we didn't have to be so worried about dehydration. hope he feels better soon!

    Your poor baby.  My little one when through that and the shot helped though it took awhile.  I hope he's feels better soon and if not, then the IV will help.

    I'm sorry your furbaby is not feeling well and hope he gets better really soon.

    TTC #1 w/ endo since Sept 2005. After many losses, a lap, tons of meds and tons of testing and, one failed IVF cycle, we were blown away with a surprise, sticky BFP...it's a girl!!! Lilypie Second Birthday tickers

    I'm so sorry. If your bringing her back to the vet I bet she will feel a lot better if she gets an IV of fluids.
