How Rude!! (NIFR vent)

So I'm in Seattle for a conference this week and I'm waiting on my work colleague to arrive from the airport so we can get lunch and then go register.  She called me at 11 to say she landed and was in a cab on her way.  At 12:15 I called to check on her and find out why she wasn't here yet.  She just called me back to tell me she was at the convention center registering.  WTF.  I've been waiting here all morning for you and I still have to register too.  Why couldn't she have just called me.  So now I still have to wait here for her.  I'm contemplating just ditching her.  But that isn't my style.  Boo.

Very rude indeed!

I work in an industry where everyone is always late/isn't honest about how long they will take. Every meeting starts 5 minutes late, and I always wait for people 15-20 minutes after the agreed upon time. Being such a punctual person, it makes me crazy!

Hope she shows up soon so you aren't waiting on her too much longer.
