Preggo Pops

What are they? I have seen a couple of posts that have mentioned them.

Re: Preggo Pops

  • They're suckers and hard candies that are supposed to help with m/s.  There's no medicine in them, so not sure how they work, but they sure did help me out a bunch!  Motherhood Maternity sells them or you can order them from their website.  Try them!

  • They're over-priced hard candies/ lolipops.  They did help me with morning sickness, but so did Jolly Ranchers and they're tons cheaper & taste better.  Don't waste your money.
  • I agree- way overpriced.  But in both of my previous pregnancies, sour candies were amazing for morning sickness.  Go pick up some SweetTarts instead - work just as good.

Just a warning - they only alleviate the nausea while you're eating them.  Once they're gone...  it'll come back in a few minutes.  Buy appropriately!

  • sour patch kids came reccomended by my midwife!
  • In Jan. with my ectopic pregnancy my nurse gave me some kind of a candy that had B6?  in it and it is supposed to help with m/s.  Maybe ask your doctor or nurse at your next appointment.  She gave me some and said if they worked for me I can come back and get some more.  I don't know if they really worked because I think I was queasy from the ectopic.
