Hi Girls! Its been a while. After coming home from vacation, having to put IVF on hold and turning another year older I had a total IF meltdown. I pretty much just shut down. I couldn't think IF, speak IF or read IF. I've only lurked on the board a handful of times since then.
I had to go to my GYN this week and it sucked. The nurse midwife was horrible and I just cried throug the whole appointment. My GYN called me the next day and we had a long talk about how I was feeling and what my next step should be. I emailed a new fertility clinic that night and they emailed me back at 10:30pm on a Thursday night! I was very impressed so I called the very next day and made an appointment for Sept 10th.
Any of the MD girls try fertility center of MD?
I'm not sure what our next step is going to be but I have a feeling it will be IUI's. If we need to do IVF we will probably have to wait until next summer. I'm off of my metformin b/c I ran out of refills and my old RE wouldn't refill it without me coming in to see him. I don't have any desire to see him anymore.
Anyhow I am back to support you girls. I see that worms is snuggling embabies nice and tight, and there were a few other BFPs. Congrats girls!! (((HUGS))) to the BFNs as well.
Re: Time to get back on the horse
Welcome back! We missed you!
I'm so sorry you've been having a rough time. Maybe a break from all things IF is just what you needed. Your new RE sounds great! I hope you have a MUCH better experience with them.
((hugs))
Welcome back!
I'm so sorry to hear about everything that has been going. I've been in that IF meltdown stage and sometimes I think it's what we need to get ourselves back on track, though it doesn't make things easier. We're here for you no matter what little lady. ((hugs))
I hope that you have great luck with your new RE's office. I'm pretty impressed that they emailed you back at 1030 at night on a Thursday. In my eyes that speaks volumes.
Good luck can't wait to hear your new plan.

Welcome back!
I go to the Fertility Center of MD and you will love it there. There are 3 RE's there. I go to Dr. Smith, but I actually recommend Dr. Padilla, since he's the head of the practice. They rotate their shifts, since they have 2 offices, one in Belair and one in Towson (I go there). I promise you will be happy that you made the appointment. I haven't done IVF there yet, I have one more IUI before we get to that. Ive done 3 (2 b2b) so far there. I know that they have shared risk and payment plans and all that, though, if you need it. They do all the b/w and labs there, and you always have the results by that afternoon.
PM me if you want any more info, and GL! Let me know how it goes!
Thanks girls! My DH has been wonderful. I think he finally gets it.
Nina- Miss you too. I'm going to PM you in a bit. My secret way of getting on FB at work has been blocked :-(
Jill- I will definitely PM you too.
I've been thinking about you! I'm glad to hear you are getting back in the swing of things-I would have taken a break as well!
I look forward to you posting more-I've missed your posts!
Thanks! I'm not sure I will have a lot to post about until my appointment. LOL
