OPKs, PCOS, and super excited!!!!!! (sorry long)

Any PCOSers have experience with OPKs?  We are on a break from meds cycle, but I decided to do the OPKs and got a + this morning!!!!!!!!! 

I was just wondering if this really means I am going to O?!?!?!  Anyone else with PCOS use them and have experience to share?  As you can tell I am in shock...

I am really excited (in case you couldn't tell).  We have been getting it on a lot in the last few days and we are actually both home until Tuesday morning.  Could this really work for us???

Then the storm clouds roll in and I remind myself that DH has a low count and who knows if my eggs and his sperm even like each other and can this really work?!?!?!  I hate IF...

On the bright side, no matter what, I know that this cycle will end one way or another and if it is a negative outcome, at least AF should show up in just over 2 weeks and we can move on...

Hey Meg! Have you done OPK's before? Some women with PCOS have LH levels that are always elevated (I do not). If you are NOT one of those women than I would say it was completely accurate! If you've never used them before you can't be sure but give it a shot! Good luck!

I haven't done OPKs before, but I started them on Tuesday and had negatives until this morning.  So not sure if that means anything... 

Thanks for the advice ladies!  I am hoping they work.  Better to try then do nothing...

Meg, if you got negatives until today than that means they are accurate. Ladies with elevated LH often always show positive or near positive results. Good luck!
