My kid is driving me crazy...

I've lurked here a bit...but hey..i'm acaudill....I have a 4 yr old dd , a 3 yr old ds and a 4 1/2 mth old ds. My 3 yr old son is driving me crazy with noises.  At first I thought he was just making them to be annoying.  Then I noticed that they mimicked stuff around the house...like....my dryer makes a beeping noise when it is finished drying....and he can make that noise!  Also...noises at the store...if the buggy squeakes..he does too!  He doe sit in his sleep.  SOme of them are really high pitched.  He is very intelligent...but this is something that is disturbing to everyone in the house.  I've thought about buying him some type of instrument....but I have no idea what to introduce to a 3 yr old.  We have a piano...but he doesnt show even the slightest bit of interest in that.

My dd likes to repeat everything we say but she hasn't mimic noises yet. I don't know if a musical instument would stop him but the 3yr olds that I know love musical instruments. We have drums,keyboards, kazoos, cymbals, a triangle, cow bell, maracas, & recorders.
