IUI #1

Just had my first IUI on Wednesday and now I really want some wine.  I just feel so stressed out about this whole thing.  Do you think it's okay to have some?  Also, leaving for Cancun next week to an all inclusive resort.  Is it okay to drink there as well.  Won't know if IUI worked until we get back from vaca.

Many RE's advise against drinking during a cycle - but then you have women with the "drink 'till it's pink" idea. I guess it's up to you. I don't think there is a hard and fast rule. Do what you're comfortable with.

Everyone has a different thought process on this...

I had a couple of glasses of wine leading up to the IUI, but I didn't after it..although today I just found out that my IUI didn't work, I'm not pregnant so I'll be meeting my friend Cabernet around 6pm tonight.

 I honestly don't think if you had a glass here or there that it would affect it, but I would definitely not go to Cancun and drink all day. My RE told me after trigger shot no drinking...but I think some people on this board have indulged in a couple here or there after trigger...

I wouldn't, but I'm sure it's fine as long as you don't go crazy with it.

Everything in moderation. I think a glass of wine will be ok. Drinking all day in Cancun probably wont.
