It's only 19.2 at 15dpo. I HATE this. It's so frustrating...I can't get pg on my own, I couldn't cook DD to full-term, what if I lose this baby, too? wtf. This weekend's going to suck, just waiting for the next beta to come back. And of course I'm feeling some cramps, but as I wasn't feeling them minutes before the beta call, I'm sure they're all mental. UGH.
Re: Beta came back really low - could use some support
I'm not sure, but it's standard at my RE to go on prog supps after a tx cycle, so I'm already on them, anyway.
good luck!
hey hey hey!
My beta was 4. FOUR!!!!! My doctors office called it a clinical negative.
at 13 dpo. so if it doubled every 2 days I would have been right about where you are now.
My son is 2 now! The number has to start somewhere.
and I was a preemie mom too, don't beat yourself up about cooking her to term! I'm sure she's a-ok now! some of us just have to have rough pregnancies so we can encourage others that they too will make it!
Big hugs to you!!!
Sarah offers better words of encouragement than I can conjure... but please know that you're in my thoughts. I hope you get the answers you're looking for. Good luck!
Owen Anders: labor (natural onset), failed VBAC, emergency c/s.
If that's not hope, I don't know what is....best of luck, hope those numbers rise and rise!
Thank you, but I just am losing hope by the minute. I got a BFP on a digital at 11dpo. I think we can safely assume it would have a sensitivity of, at the VERY least, 10. So I should have hit 20 by 12dpo. I also had a temp dip that I tried to write off due to having a tough time getting enough sleep to temp b/c of DD's teething, but that's not really a good sign either. This whole thing is just breaking my heart. I know I just need to wait for Monday at this point, and it could turn out OK, but it's so much easier said than done.
I'm sorry, I can't imagine how tough this must be. Hang in there and try to rest as much as you can this weekend. Hopefully you'll get a great big increase on the next one. Good luck & hugs.
Your daughter is beautiful!
Just try to remember the number on it's own really doesn't matter! Try not to worry too much! It's not going to help anything if you are a basket case!!
Good luck!
diagnosed with heterozygous Factor V Leiden 2008; m/c 11/09 @ 5 1/2 wks; m/c 5/10 @ 4 1/2 wks; RLP testing done, diagnosed with antiphospholipid syn. and low progesterone; 7/10 started on Heparin injections & progesterone supps @ 3 dpo, BFP 8/9/10!!!
I did a lot of googling of low initial beta numbers with this pregnancy - granted, my numbers weren't as low as yours - however I found loads of posts from people with very low betas and they included pictures of those babies now - healthy and happy.
I hope your betas double at a great rate!
I understand I do. However I got a positive on a digital without FMU. How the hell do you explain that? I know it sounds totally crazy. But man your situation sounds like mine!
I woke up, got a faint faint hold it sideways and put it in direct light bfp. Then I ran to work. I picked up a digi around noon. Took that. pregnant. Then ran to the hospital so my friend would do a blood test. negative.
Talk about devestated. Oh I was spotting red too.
Please hang in there sweetie! I don't want to give you false hope, but trust that it isn't always the end all!
OK, THAT makes me feel better. I'm just really scared
I want this baby!
It's amazing how you think you're dealing with these horrible circumstances that no one can understand and then bam- someone like Sarah comes along! I'm glad she has a positive story for you.
My betas were also on the lower side, but doubling, so that's what you need to see. I'm holding out for your appointment Monday and some awesome news. Also, I can't get pregnant on my own and didn't carry DD to term, but everyone's journey is different and you can't feel bad about it. Crossing fingers and toes for good news in the days ahead. Try to relax this weekend (I know, it's hard) and let yourself relax. It's out of your hands right now.
