First, I didn't realize how draining it would be to be out of the hours 11 hours and when I get home I'm spent and want to veg out for a little while. I have not really kept up and plan to read through a few pages of posts today.
I think we will be doing IVF next summer. My DH really, really wants us to go on one last vacation adventure, the kind that could not be done while pregnant or with a baby. I know that after our "last hurrah," he will be much more on board to doing IVF. So, as it stands now, we are hoping to go on a week's adventure to the Amazon rain forest at the end of May and then starting IVF during the summer.
This is not how I originally planned things (which essentially goes for everyone here) but it's nice to know that finally after what seems like an eternal delay, we will have a treatment plan. My health insurance starts in 2 1/2 months and I am planning to see the RE then to start testing on my end. I have always assumed our issues were strictly MFI, but who knows if I might also have a fertility issue that needs to be addresssed. .
Re: I think we have a plan
Hooray for a plan!
I would also look into what vaxes you might need and if there is a rec to not get PG within a certain amount of time after vaxing.

Psychologically, it's really, really important to DH that we go on an adventure trip so he will feel that he is fully recovered from the accident of December 2009. I know that without doing so, he would not be fully on board with IVF and feel that he missed out on something important, so it's somethng I have to do for him. Plus, I would love to go to the Amazon Rainforst while it still exists.
