Hi ladies, this is my first post on this board. My husband and I are expecting our first child in December and I would like to cloth diaper our baby.
My main drawback is the cost of laundry since we have pay machines in our building. For those of you who cloth diaper, how many loads of diapers do you find yourself doing each week? (and I guess how many loads of baby clothes do you do as well??)
Thanks
Re: How often do you do a load of diapers?
with my current stash i was every other day. i'd like to build up enough of a stash to wash every 3 days though, just in case i get busy and don't have time/forget to do a load.
as for baby clothes, i prolly do 1 load a week. we have a seperate laundry basket for DS and i just wash everything when it gets full.
diapers- every day, or sometimes every other
i mix my clothes with my kids and do a load a day.
For newborn we had 30 pfs, 7 covers, 35 wipes and I did diaper laundry every other day.
Now, same amount of diapers and covers and I do diaper laundry every 3-4 days.
Probably one load of baby clothes a week, maybe every other week. DD has A LOT of clothes.
