Friday Confessions!

I am sitting at work wishing that I would have called in sick today and gone to the lake, but can't because of monitoring appointment and possible b2b IUIs next week. 

Anyway, my confession is that while my husband was up at his parent's for a week, I loved sleeping in the bed by myself.  I got to spread out everywhere!

My confession is that instead of working today I'm only playing on my new iPhone. And I don't care at all.

I love when I get my bed to myself....usually my hound jumps in with me though!

Confession: I came into school today to set up my classroom.  Instead I'm bumping and playing on the internet.  Not getting much done.

My confession is... I turned off my alarm at the beginning of the week and let myself wake up whenever I wanted to. I think I've averaged a bright-and-early waking time of 9am this whole week. My husband wakes up at 5am, so I feel a little guilty...

A friend just posted pics on FB of their recent trip to Europe.  They planned it as soon as they learned she was pregnant.  I'm really pissed that we won't be able to afford a "babymoon" after paying for IVF. I'm happy for her and it's obviously not her fault, but it just stinks!

Confession: DH has a coworker who is very nice and seems to really want to be my friend, but I am shying away from her since I found out she is pregnant.

I confess that I am online shopping instead of doing work and I do not NEED anything.

I confess I am still bitter about our friend who called to announce her 3rd pregnancy.

I confess I want to have a couple of drinks Saturday night at the wedding but I probably shouldnt as I may be triggering that night.

Someone who I thought was a close friend has decided not to be my friend anymore after trying to have a grown up conversation with her regarding her constant negative FB pregnancy updates.  

Not only did she call me selfish and rude, she unfriended me, my H (who she is has known for 10 years, even before he met me) H's family and a friend she met through me.  This really upset H.

It also makes me feel like it's not a good idea to tell people no matter how nicely and apologetically you approach how you are feeling.

I too like sleeping our our king size bed by myself. I sleep smack dab in the middle and sprawl out!

Confession: I really hate explaining to people about IVF, especially when they are fertile. I want to carry a book around in my purse and hand it to them and tell them to read it and then ask questions. 

Confession: I wanted to have ice cream with hot fudge for breakfast this morning. 

Confession: I've been home all week and have taken several naps during the day and it feels good to nap. Love it when the kitties snuggle with me too.

I'm so sorry your friend acted this way. I think you did the right thing -- and it is so not 'selfish and rude' to speak your mind. Most people just can't take confrontation.

I have had all week off, and my house needs lots of attention.  But I work 7pm-7am tonight, so I'm not going to do house chores

Although I like to think of myself as an open minded person, I am very  judgmental of people whose shopping carts are filled with junk food.   Whenever I see someone with kids loading up on overly processed, nutritionally empty high calorie foods, I am tempted to ask them why they are doing this to their children.
