I'm probably being crazy paranoid but...

Has anyone experienced jaw pain on Lupron?  I've had 3 days of injections and starting maybe 2 nights ago my jaw started hurting.  Not bad and only on one side when I open it.  I don't know if it's related to the Lupron or not.I think I remember reading that Lupron can cause bone pain.

I'm mostly paranoid they will tell me to stop the Lupron and it will screw up my cycle.  I can deal with the pain for a bit if it's not causing some sort of permanent damage or anything (which it's probably not).  Anyone know what would happen if they did tell me to stop Lupron?  TIA ladies!  And feel free to tell me to quit being such a hypochondriac :)

    I have no clue if that is a side effect of Lupron or not. So far the only s/e I have had are hot flashes and a slight headache. If you are really worried I would call your RE and ask. Or just ice it and take a couple tylenol and see if it helps. Good Luck!

    I haven't heard of it with Lupron.  But, since starting my IVF journey, I have definitely had increased tension in my jaw, making me grind my teeth at night so my jaw and teeth hurt during the day.

    First time I noticed it was when I was on BCPs.  It did go away.  The next time I noticed it was during a FET and I was taking estrace and vivelle dots.  I think the increased and varying hormones running through my body make me tense up my jaw and cause the pain.  

    I've recently stopped taking the estrace and vivelle dots and am waiting for the tension and pain to subside.

    May - I've always been a teeth grinder but this feels different.  It's only on one side and more of a sharp pain.  Of course, it could just be that I'm grinding more now than normal :)

    I hope you don't mind me responding.  I am also a teeth grinder and when I am stressed out I grind more. 

    Also, when I get symptoms from Lupron they go away once I start the stims and reduce my lupron dosage.  If you are on the same protocol, you will hopefully see the same thing.  :)
