spotting after masturbation

Well.. the title pretty much sums it up.  I know this a TMI question, but has anyone had spotting after masturbating.  I know that intercourse can cause spotting, but I've been spotting this morning after masturbating last night.  Anyone out there who is brave enough to answer? :)

    Sounds like you irritated the cervix (esp. if there was penetration). I've also heard that orgasam can push some of the older blood out, causing spotting. Same as after intercourse.

    Honestly, I'm too bloated to even think about sex in any form, so I say bravo.

    I would imagine that orgasm alone can cause some spotting.

    DH is out of town ... and yes!! a few hours after (without penetration) I too was spotting ... It finally stopped yesterday!!!

    Could be an irritated cervix...if it gets worse, call the dr. Last year when that happened to me after sex, we went to the dr. and found out I had a SCH.

    YES!! In fact, I just posted about this a few days ago. I had a powerful orgasm  (clitoral, no penetration), and the next day, I started spotting brown. Today too, but not as much. Just had a U/S, and all is perfectly well. If it's brown, most likely OK.
