bleeding ?

Good morning!

I have had a few bleeding scares in the last week... one last Friday afternoon/Saturday morning and then another BIG one this morning. We had an emergency u/s Saturday morning and another one today and both babies look absolutely perfect, measuring right on track with strong heartbeats. They cannot find a bleed at all and told me this morning that I, unfortunately, may just be one of the unlucky few that bleed during their entire pregnancy.

I am scared out of my mind. I am 7w today and even though they tell me all is A-OK, my mind is having a hard time believing them. I was released today bc there is no bleed visible on the scan, and she spent a lot of time looking for one.

Did any of you experiece this with a positive outcome... as an IF patient, we are just always waiting for the other shoe to drop and I feel like mine is just dangling off.

I had several heavy bleeding episodes during my 1st trimester. Whenever I went in for an u/s to find out what was going my RE could never find where or why the bleed occured. There are a lot of women on here who have experienced bleeds. I know it's so scary. Thinking of you!

I know its scary hon, but the fact that everything looks great on the u/s is a fabulous sign

I was just telling a friend the other day that if i didn't bleed during one of my pregnancies, that would be abnormal for me.

Don't get me wrong.....I hate bleeding!  It is so nervewracking!

eyenerd, you bleed? when did it start for you? is it pretty consistent? how do i tell between "good/ok" bleeding and "bad" bleeding?

Hi SVP!!  Congrats on the twins!!!

I had a bleeding scare - two, actually.  One was the day before our first u/s.  I walked in convinced I wasn't pregnant anymore - instead, we saw 2 strong heartbeats. That was around 6.5 wks.  At 8 wks, I had another bleeding scare, and went to the IF for another u/s and they were great.   They couldn't finde the source, either. 

Now, I'm over 25 wks and they're great.
