Remind me - baby aspirin?

What is it supposed to do? I'm to take one a day but I don't know why.

Re: Remind me - baby aspirin?

  • LMAO!!!

according to this site, it's supposed to increase blood flow to the uterus and ovaries.

I have NEVER heard of this! Is it safe to try it or do I really need to talk to the RE?

I really can't see the harm in it.  I mean, it's baby aspirin after all!  LOL

  • Papps - it should be fine as long as you stick to the baby aspirin, I think it's only 81mg (is that right?)

  • What PPs said.  I was told it can also help with inflammation issues.

You may want to check with your RE.  Most people do a low dose baby asprin when doing IVF but my RE didn't want me to take it for some reason so it was not part of my protocol.

I wouldn't add any medications until you talk with your doctor.

  • I am presently going through the IVF process & was told by my RE to take a baby aspirin (81mg) everyday. He said it is to improve the quality/number of eggs, improve the lining of the uterus & help with implantation.

As mentioned above, I wouldn't take any additional medicines unless you have talked with your RE about it first!
