New and when should I give up?

Hello!  I've been looking around for awhile for suggestions of how to get this ttc process started.  I've got a question that maybe you all can answer for me...

This is my 3rd cycle after completing bcp and my first 2 cycles were normal, got +opk on CD 14 on my first cycle trying and on CD 13 on my second.  I had thermal shifts both times.  First cycle was 28 days and second was 25, which seemed a little short.  Today I'm on CD 16 and still nothing.  My temps are still low.  I thought that maybe I just missed my surge and my temp would jump up today but still low.  I had cramping on CD 12 as I had last month too and O was right after last time.  We've bd'd everyday for the past 4 days, today will be 5.  As for cm, this is my first go around with checking and I haven't dried up yet but haven't noticed anything I can confirm to be ewcm.  What should I do?  Keep bding everyday until I get a shift, switch to eo day, or chalk it up to my body getting back into the swing of things and no O this month and wait until AF?

Everyday I don't have a shift I get discouraged but then try to remember everyday without that spike is another day I get to try. Thanks!

You may ovulate later. I did not ovulate until CD27 last cycle. When in doubt, hump it out.

Also, you can call it sex....

It could come tomorrow. Keep humping it out. It is between 24-36 hours after your last +. Maybe even longer for some.

Have sex until you see a shift or until you have done it so much you vag falls off. EOD should be fine, though.

I definitely wouldn't give up. Sometimes the body gears up to O and doesn't but then will ovulate a bit later. If the everyday sex is wearing you guys out (it would wear me out to do that all month!), then switch to every other day. Good luck!

After BCP your cycles can be crazy. My first cycle was 31 days. The second... I OVULATED on CD35. I kept thinking that I wasn't going to ovulate, and then there was the thermal shift! Don't get discouraged! If you and your husband need a break, switch to EOD.

I wouldn't give up....this is only my second cycle actually charting, the first one ended with provera when AF never showed.  This cycle, we are going to have sex EOD from day 12-25 or longer if necessary if I don't O.  Keep on sexin it up!

I got really good info from www.amandabears.com about timing. My first 2 cycles off bcp were exactly 28-9 days, but I wasn't using OPK's and just assumed from what I read on the net that everyone O'd at CD14, so MH and I just had sex around then....then I came here and learned you can O at any time....so my next cycle I used OPK's,got a + at CD 19, MH and I had sex EOD starting at CD14, then at CD19 we had sex for three days in a row then skipped a day, then tried one more time. I was not temping or checking CM at all....and I got a BFP. Unfortunetly it was a c/p....but it worked.

I am temping this cycle, but more because it makes me feel like I am doing something while waiting to O....plus it's fun to plug in the numbers and see what the chart does. We are still going to take the OPK's and when we get a +..it's sex for 3 days....everyone is different....but the egg meets sperm plan on the website I mentioned seems like it makes sense to me.
