Great to be on this board-heres a little about me. Im a normal 29 y/o that has been TTC since Dec 09-My cycles are very much normal and pretty much like clockwork I think we have just been missing the "mark"!! Although its not exactly a year TTC we followed up with a fertility specialist anyway just to get some testing done so we are ahead of the game and it turns out everyhting is perfect in terms of my eggs and his sperm analysis go but unfortunatley I found out Im a type I carrier of SMA, I also got my husband tested and we were praying he was a carrier III but he came back as carrier type II which I guess is better then him coming back type I like myself. Has anyone else had these results? Im so upset and scared! I have followed up with genetic counseling and she is sending his specimen for further testing to see if its on one chromosone or both-what difference does that make?? I also have a slightly hypo-thyroid  my TSH-3rd generation is 4.88 so Im starting thyroid meds today for 1 month and then will retest(my weight is normal-never had prior issues and Im owrried that I soon will ahhhh)
