old school temping

So my mom knows that we are ttc.  We were talking the other day and I told her I was temping.  I thought I was going to have to explain it to her.  She totally surprised me and told me that she temped with both of my brothers and that was in late 60's!  She told me that back then what was recommended was you wake up, temp, and if your temp was low then without moving you were supposed to have sex!  That doesn't even make since haha!  Glad that those days are over!

LOL, I was watching "The View" episode about TTC, and thought it was funny when Barbara was talking about temping. She said something like "Remember those days? You took your temp, and depending what it said, you told husband to come home! Now!" That didn't make any sense either, but it made me LOL.

Well charting isnt exactly a new thing. My mom knows about charting. Maybe then it did make sense, I mean those ladies hung out with thier legs in the air and butt propped up on pillows.

Lol! That's hilarious! My mom had to temp to concieve me. For a year! So yeah, I'm a little nervous. But then she got pregnant with my middle brother the first try and my youngest bro was an oopsie! So, you never know! I was shocked when she told me though!
