DH and I have been planning it for a while now, but never really set a date to start the dreaded "passer" removal. We weaned her from 3 to just 1 in her bed a few weeks ago with no problem. Then a about 4 days ago her pacifier fell under her bed. She never asked for it, so we never brought it up, and she's been doing fine since then.
She finally asked, "where's passer?" today when I was putting her down for her nap. I just said that she didn't need it anymore since she was a big girl, and that was that.
I'm so proud of her for taking it so well. She really is a big girl! Now on to potty training...
Re: AW: My dd and getting rid of pacifiers
I thought taking the "bobo" would be like taking crack from a crackhead. After a brief backslide due to daddy's lack of resistance, night one she cried, night two she whimpered. Night 3 "night night!" Let's count ourselves among the lucky. A 3 y.o. almost 4 y.o. boy in G's class, is still Paci'ing it up!
