I woke up at 4:30 am to take my temp like every morning, and he says to me "how's your temp looking?" (Yesterday I told him it wasn't looking so promising so he must have been thinking about it.) Then he says Uncle Ted asked when we would know and I told him not for a week. Wow I didn't realized he followed my cycle so closely. It was actually kind of sweet knowing he must be talking to my Uncle about it, (who is like my dad and really close to DH so I don't mind.) So I learned that he actually does think about this stuff and cares about it more than I thought
. Score for DH!!!
What has your DH done to teach/suprise you during TTC?
Re: DH taught me something today.
My DH suprises me that he has started using the lingo. He will ask if I POAS today. Did I use an Internet Cheapie, LOL.
But mostly, he wakes me up every morning, gives me the thermometer, waits til I"m done, takes it from me, and then gets up to get ready for work.
He really has taken an interest in it, more than I ever would have thought!
We have love our DH's!
Omg, your furbabies are adorable!!
MH knows that I stress about finances a lot, and he hasn't been super financially responsible in the past. But he really wants me to be able to stay home after the baby is born.
He has spent the last 2 years working on an MBA and he will be done next month. He works very hard to make a good name for himself at his job, and his efforts are definitely being recognized (though he is still very underpaid). He has applied for some higher-paying positions, and he has even started finding side jobs doing technical writing on Elance.com.
He doesn't always say it, but I know his motivation primarily comes from wanting a family.
Thank you!! That's just two of our four, but those two are bff's
I'm not sure why when i read "Uncle Ted", I thought of a male version of "Aunt Flow".
My mind has been corrupted.
LMAO
