I don't like the name Oliver, but it seems to get an overall from this board. I guess it's just nms. I just think of a dorky kid (think Oliver on Brady Bunch).

I LOVE Oliver! Not so crazy about Justin, but its just a middle name so I think it is fine. I do not live Calvin AT ALL, Oliver is soooooooooo much better!
Justin is my DH name, so maybe my question should be what name do you think goes best with that? We really like Oliver, but I agree I'm not sold on the pairing. (and we want Justin as the mn)

Oh, ok, then I take back my previous comment, I love middle names with meaning. I still love Oliver and am not a fan of Calvin, so I vote Oliver Justin! But I do think that Justin flows just fine with either!
I think I am in the minority here but I really don't like Oliver. However Calvin is my absolute favorite boy name. DH hates it so I will never be able to use it.

I don't really like it because Oliver seem so classic and Justin seems so 1980s. They don't seem to make sense together. Oliver Calvin sounds nice, though.

I agree about the names not matching. I like Oliver, but Justin is nms.
same...I don't think I'd say I LOVE Oliver, but I do like it. But I think it sounds sort of weird with mn Justing. But I'm also a big proponent of make your kids mn whatever the heck you want, so I say go for it! I do like the name Calvin too though.
Off topic but one of my best friends bf name is Justin White. I think it's funny and wonder if his mom did that on purpose or it just kinda happened.
Back to the topic I do like Oliver and Calvin, but if I had to choose I would choose Calvin but than again I love names that can have a nickname to it.
i have always loved oliver so i'm sad that it's so popular [and still rising] now. if that doesn't bother you, go for it. justin is nms at all and what pp said could make it weird because they do both sound like other words/ phrases.

That's quite a stretch! You can do that with any name if you try hard enough!
I love the name Oliver -- it's a family name on both sides in my family.
I also like the name Justin, especially since it's not one you see a lot of nowadays.
"Calvin Justin" sounds way too matchy matchy for my taste, but Oliver Justin has a great flow!

Oliver is classic and Justin is more...trendy maybe? Whats your hubby's middle name? would that work with Oliver?
Growing Up Olson
Wow, do those two names clash lol.
We had Oliver Noah for a combo.

i also do like calvin, but probably because my boys are like three little calvins (from calvin & hobbes)
(not really a fan of justin as a mn, though. it doesn't really "go".)
