Update: OPK at work (especially teachers)

So earlier I was asking for suggestions about how to use an OPK at work (especially for teachers, since we get like NO time to pee each day). Anyways, I thought I would give a follow-up of how it went today in case some people (teachers) were wondering if it would work.

 

I just have my OPK and pee cup in my little bag and used it in the restroom. Afterwards, I laid it flat and took it back to my room. No biggie and it worked just fine (except no + for me yet!).

 

HTH if anyone was wondering! It can be done...even if you are a teacher!

Funny you mention this..... I just awkwardsly PIAC for an OPK for the first time at work today and felt like a boob waiting in there for 5 minutes for my negative result, and someone suggested I dip it and put it back in the package and take it back to my desk.  Glad to hear it worked.  Thanks!

I did this for the first time at work today too - I'm not a teacher but it was still pretty awkward PIAC at work... and all for a negative result, boo.

 Agreed!!  I will take the awkward couple of minutes for the + result any day!  Hopefully soon for both of us - good luck!!!

We have a little cupboard in our faculty bathroom where a lot of the ladies keep little make-up bags with pads/tampons.  I might have to keep some OPKs and pee cups in there!

I wasn't sure if there would be any snoopers (seriously though, who would snoop through a bag in a bathroom), but it would be easy to figure out who they belonged to. Trying to still keep TTC underwraps for right now! Gotta love toting around my pee cups/sticks!

I bet there are some snoopers.  People do crazy things.  I don't care though.  The ladies in my hallway all know we're TTC because I have a huge mouth, so if somebody finds them, whatever.  Stop snooping in my shi*t!

I teach nosey middle school students, so, I'd have to hide it in a cabinet or drawer or something or else I think they'd ask what it was.
