Trying to Get Pregnant

For those familiar with Answer brand OPKs

I feel kind of stupid posting one of those "is this a positive" questions, but this is my first try with a non-digital OPK. If I had gotten this result on a Clearblue Easy digital, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten a smiley face since I remember seeing second lines that were slightly lighter than the control line and still getting a smiley. However, I don't know if a slightly lighter line on a non-digital means the same thing. Picture is below. What do you think? (And the main reason I ask is because DH is likely going to be tired when he gets home from work tonight and won't be up for sex unless it's necessary, sad as that may sound.)

  • I use digitals mostly so I like you know the smiley means it is go time. I think that on a non-digital though the line is supposed to be as dark or darker than the control line. To me this one looks lighter so it might be a negative that is probably going to get positive soon... HTH!

  • I tend to have a pattern where my OPK looks just like that the afternoon before I get a definite positive.  If I had that and tested with FMU tomorrow, I'd have a positive.  If you think from other signs (CM or your past cycles) that it's probably positive, then maybe you can have sex in the morning??? I suggest testing tomorrow with FMU and in the afternoon anyway.  Good luck!
