I like it, but I personally would spell it Helena and still pronounce it Heleena.

i like helena (pronounced like helaina, and if you are greek the h is silent) i am not so big on heleena, but i do like alina which is similiar. i think the h sound in both names is wierd though, im not a fan but i see the appeal
There's something about the spelling that just looks off. I agree that you should still spell it Helena, even if you want to alter the pronunciation.

What do I think honestly? I think it has too many Es and it sounds silly.
If you don't like the way a name is pronounced, choose another name, rather than messing up the spelling.
If you must go with the name, spell it Helena and just correct people on the pronunciation. People say it all kinds of ways, anyway. Personally, I say 'hell-ay-nah'.

yes! Thanks, we wanted something different but not crazy different.
you can spell it Helleena or Hellena but to not cool with the word "hell" in a name...funny thing is-"hell" is in my name!!lol
People are still going to need to be corrected on the pronunciation...but at least it wouldnt look like a typo.
This. Hel-en-a doesn't come to mind at all when I see Helena.. I just see Hel-ee-na.

That said, I agree with eaglefoot.
Helen-a spelled Helena is the capital of MT. I think Heleena would have pronouncing it easier.
