If you're looking for a good stroller that is easy to use, consider the Baby Trend Snap n' Go Stroller. The car seat fits into the stroller frame. I just read a post that said a travel system is a waste of money and I totally agree. Get a good jogging stroller for walks and outings, like the zoo, because they push so much easier and the ride is much smoother for baby. Then get this for stores and such. Very lightweight and doesn't take up much room.
Re: why I skipped the travel system...
i originally bought a travel system, and didn't realize how HUGE it was! unfortunately i couldn't return it, but i did buy a snap n go. best decision.

Yes snap and go would have been much better. We hardly every used our travel stroller. I would say 90% of the time we were doing outside events and the jogging stroller was much easier to move around.
Now we do not use either, since DS could sit up. We have a wagon which we use a ton! I also keep a really cheap light weight umbrella stroller in the car which I use all the time, easy in and out of the mall/stores etc..
Why I skipped it: I got that Graco snap n go/carseat for $35 at Target steal, and a Peg Perego Pliko on Craigslist for $60.

used carseat on Craigs List? Please reconsider this...one of the least safest things you can do. Sorry, just had to throw that out there. Quietly minding my own business now...
Gotta agree here...there are somethings I think you just don't skimp on. Safety is one of them. I would not use a craigslist car seat.
Ditto this. We used the stroller part of our travel system for 6 years straight...it went straight from DD to DS and we only just stopped using it on a regular basis at the end of last summer (DS was 3 1/2). We had a station wagon, though, so keeping it in there all the time wasn't an issue. An umbrella stroller would have driven me crazy--I need the cup holders and basket storage for me and the snack/toy tray for the baby/toddler. It didn't have inflatable wheels, but the wheels it did have were a bit bigger, so we never had any issues taking it to fairs and the zoo and such.
I definitely recommend "test driving" them before you buy to see which ones really fit your preferences.

The STROLLER, ladies. The stroller. Notice the part where I said I got the snap n go & carseat at Target?
