Bieberly?

Apparently it's the name of one of the vets at our local animal hospital. I'm assuming she's female as I have never met her. I saw her name on their website and it just struck me as odd. I googled it and it looks like it's mostly a surname. I can't figure out if I like it or not. I also wonder how she's dealing with her name during this Justin Bieber phase (dear god, I hope it's a phase).

Any thoughts?

It's a surname, traditionally. I would guess it was a family surname, or possibly her mother's maiden name. It's pronounced just as it looks: Bee-ber-lee.

Never heard of it.  I'd imagine it must be a family name?  But yeh, all I could think of when I saw it was Justin Bieber.  ew.

Oh dear lord, I hope not. I may have opened a can of worms. I'll be keeping my eye on the local birth annoucements for a rash of Bieberlys (and all the uneek spelling variations).
