It went great. My RE was super nice and really optomistic. She said that my bloodwork came back great (but with a slightly high TSH=2.9 that I'll need to retest). But my FSH and E2 were awesome. It was CD3 for me so I also got a date with the vag cam and no issues there. Only thing I have left is to schedule an HSG for next week.
Assuming the HSG comes out ok, our next steps are going to be IUI. She thinks given our latest SA, the morph is no longer an issue. The main problem now is DH's low motility (14%). This cycle I'll finish out testing. Then next cycle we can move on to IUI.
We are completely OOP for treatment so she's giving us the choice of natural IUI, IUI with Clomid, or IUI with Injects. She says it's up to us. If you were in my position, assuming MFI is our only issue, which option would you go with?
Re: Back from First RE Appointment
Glad to hear everything went well!
I would try clomid + IUI if I were you. Injectables are SO much more expensive and if you respond well to clomid there is no need to spend that especially since you are OOP. (I am too!)
GL at your HSG! It was really much less painful than I went into thinking it would be.

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
Thanks! That's where DH and I are leaning towards too. The RE said that doing that would double our odds vs. TI. So if we have 3-5% each cycle now, we'd have 6-10% with Clomid and IUI ... doubling our chances sounds so good. But shoot, 6-10% just sounds so bad.
Butting in, hope you don't mind. DH had very low motility as well 18% if I remember correctly. My RE put him on a general antibiotic for my cycle day 1-10 and his numbers went all the way up to 98%. I guess there is a bacteria that can grow normally in a man and that it can cause poor motility.
Good luck. We were able to do Injects and TI.

You are not butting in at all!! Thanks for the advice - we'll check it out.
It was a quick easy fix for DH. I think our copay was 10 for the generic antibiotic. I'm so thankful we had him checked out too. We knew about my PCOS, but had no clue. Hope it helps for you guys.
