Could this be implantation cramping? TTC#2 & EBF

I'm TTC#2 and still EBF.  I'm in the 2WW and having AF like cramping, no bleeding.

I know I O'd about 5 days ago.  My question for you second time mommas, did you experience implantation cramping in your second pregnancy more than your first?

I didn't have it at all with my first so I'm wondering if it's more common with the 2nd or if I'm just going to get AF really early.  I know EBF can mess with your luteal phase so I'm not sure what to think.

Hoping to join you ladies soon!

  • If I remember right I think that implantation cramping is said to occur between CDs 7-11. I had random light cramping throughout both pregnancies - but nothing during the 2WW

I don't think it's common at all. I consider it a bumpism or internetism - along with the 4 month wakeful and a bunch of other stuff.

GL! And try not to analyze everything. I didn't even know I was pregnant with #2 until I was 6.5 weeks and morning sickness started. Inn other words - I had NO recognizable early symptoms.

I agree. I EBF'd DS and got pregnant on my 4th cycle, got AF at 6 mo. they were so screwy. one cycle was 21 days long....so they are not regular while BFing.  I had one cycle that I thought It was Implantation bleeding, it wasnt. The next cycle I got pg,

  • Cramping during your cycle is an indicator that you're pregnant of you're going to get AF in the next few weeks. The problem is at this point in your cycle, your body is producing the same exact hormones regardless if you're pregnant or not so symptoms aren't any indicator of anything really.

    Good luck!
