  • i actually woke up at 1am with horrible acid reflux and thought i was going to be sick.  i drank half a glass of milk (since milk is a base i thought it might cancel out some of the acid) and it actually settled my stomach and let me go back to sleep.

  • I have to take an acid reducer before I go to bed.

  • Zantac 150mg in the morning and at night helps me.  This was suggested by my doc and I couldn't be more thankful!

I definitely agree that milk helps, too!

  • This has been my worst pregnancy symptom from day one. A few things have helped, but I still get it bad a few times a day...

     -  Taking a Pepcid AC before bed (per doc's instructions)
    -  Eating two Tums as-needed (usually ends up being 2 - 3 times a day)
    -  Eating apples (not sure why this helps, but its the only food I've found that helps calm the acid - I'm living off of them these days!)

    Hope this helps!
