cysters come in!

For those of you who have had cysts caused by clomid.... How long did it take them to go away? and did your RE decide to use clomid on the next cycle or switch to something else? If your RE did use clomid again, didn't you just get cysts again? Thanks for answering my zillion questions. Obviously I have cysts and am taking several months off to concentrate on acupuncture and improving my health, Lessing my anxiety and meeting with an infertility counselor and was just wondering what the future may hold.

I was originally going to do 3-4 clomid cycles.  At the start of my 3rd (on my CD3 b/w and u/s) they discovered a cyst and my hormone levels were all off.  So they had me give myself a trigger shot (and that was on CD5) and they told me I'd get AF in about 2 weeks.  I went in a couple days after trigger to make sure my hormone levels had evened out (which would tell them if the cyst had gone away or not, and it had) and I did get my period 2 weeks later. 

After that I moved straight to injections.  We probably would have gone back to clomid except I had additional b/w done and discovered I have poor ovarian reserve.  Injectibles just made more sense at that point.

Hi there...I've had cysts due to clomid.  Actually, had to sit this current cycle out because of them.  My RE usually puts me on BCPs for amonth and then we check on the next CD3 u/s to see if they are gone...luckily every time they've been gone, so I don't know what would happen if they were still there after being on the BCPs.
