I tested positive when I was pregnant with my 5 year old....it poses no risk to you, but they will want to give you IV antibiotics while you are in labor so that it doesn't cause baby any problems.

I just tested positive for it as well. The doctor said that they have to give you special antibiotics while ur in labor so that it doesnt transfer to the baby. They said 35% of pregnant women have it.
I'm only 9 1/2 weeks along and had my first appt on Monday. They called today with the results. It sounds like you're periodically tested for it throughout pregnancy.
I'm positive. You just have to get the antibiotics when labor starts. I did find out that my doctor's office won't strip my membranes at all because I'm positive for it though.

35-36 weeks is standard.
