Hi ladies,
I have not been able to post for over a week now because things have been so crazy for us. I'm trying to catch up on posts now and hope I didn't miss anything like a birth. The week started off pretty badly for me when I received news on Sunday that my sister and BIL were involved in a pretty serious car accident and had to be hospitalized. I would be an emotional wreck either way but it seems that with pregnancy hormones I just couldn't stop crying. They are o.k. - just bruises, cuts and swollen faces, thank God, but it was pretty intense. It really is a miracle that my sister survived.
Then we had our floors replaced and that turned out to be a nightmare. We had to leave our home for 4 nights with the dog and basically rely on close friends for a last-minute place to stay. We're back home but DH has banned me from the downstairs as you can still smell the fumes from the polyurethane. Again, I don't usually mind staying with friends but I seem to miss my creature comforts even more now.
Then our car broke down. Long story. It's fixed now but my oh my. I just hope this is the end of the madness.
