So, even though I left the message for thr RE, the nurse calls me back. She said that they don't do a 7DPO test b/c they know I O'd as they had me do the Ovidril shot. She ( the nurse) didn't really understand why I wanted the test so I told her that I was worried that my progesterone levels were dropping too soon and that if I get get KU this cycle, the egg would not have time to implant. So, just to make me feel better she is having me come in tomorrow morning to have it tested. Since they normally do not test it, what level should I be looking for ? I'm just a bit worried that since they normally do not test it, they will not know what it should be. When I asked about what they do for IVF patients, she said that they automatically put them all on it ( which makes sense). I'm just a bit aggrivated that it made it seem like I was asking for some drugs or something when all I want is just to have my level checked as my LP has been wonky.

Re: Really confused ( s/o PMS symptom post)
My RE looks for a number over 15 but said any number over 5 means you def. ovulated.
HTH!
Good for you for being your own advocate - mine doesn't always check with clomid cycles but when I asked for it she has no problem checking it.

SAIF/PAIF Welcome
Lots of love and luck to my PAIF/3T/IF Veteran ladies, especially my dear friend Zookie. Congrats to Papps, Teach84 and Starbuck on their little ones.
If someone has a LPD, would they be able to tell that: yes, they ovulated but that their levels drop too quickly? This is what I'm really concerned about. I know I did ovulate as I had the.worst.O-pain.ever but I'm just more worried about the wonky LP.

I wouldn't think it would be able to tell you that...because you are not checking the levels multiple times to know if it was higher before the the 7DPO. So you wouldn't be able to know per se that your levels are "dropping" before they should be but if they are only say a 6 or 7 they will know that they may not be high enough to support a pregnancy even though you did ovulate.
I hope that makes sense!
I am not sure if at that point they can do anything about a low number but if it is low you can request that you be put on a progesterone supplement for your next cycle.

This is kind of what I am hoping them to be able to see. I already feel like this cycle is a lost cause, anyways, due to my PMS symptoms but I want to be able to say something for next cycle (if needed) so that I at least have a chance for the egg to implant.
Thanks
