A petty vent

Baby Bear's voice (on Sesame St.) drives me batty. DD was asking me today what "powidge" is and it took me 5 minutes to realize she meant "porridge."

So I made oatmeal for breakfast and called it porridge 500 times until she said the word properly without realizing it. :)

    it's like that darn duckling on the wonder pets. ugh! I try to avoid that show just b/c  I want to smack that duckling.  we never did get into sesame street.  dc were never big into elmo.

    I'm going to list a FFFC instead. My allergies are awful. I took a benadryl and then when K and I were playing on the floor in the play room, I fell asleep. Oops! Disclaimer: dh was home.

    May I add another confession? I like silly bands. I think they are fun and will get DD some when we find some cool ones. Oriental Trading has some ABC bands. So they are "educational" :p

    Ugh.  We feel the same way about Baby Bear.  Ever since we were first introduced to him, DH and I loathed him.

    Stacie - I am wearing a couple of Silly Bandz right now.  LOL.   Cole has some that he likes to play with.  Several months ago, he wanted me to wear two of them - a red star and a blue dog bone.  I haven't taken them off since.  I shower with them on and everything.  I'm weird.  Although, that must mean DH is weird too, because he's had on a green one that Cole gave him, for several weeks too.  (I think he was jealous of mine!  HA!)

    Kai Lan, oh god her voice, man oh man, i can't stand that show. we don't let dd watch too much tv, maybe once every couple of days, and usually it is so i can get something done, like have a shower by myself, so if that is on it isn't a big deal, but my god. it just annoys the crap out of me

    and i too correct elmo
