Oh the things you will see/hear at good ol' WalMart! I heard a mother with a half a dozen kids under the age of 8 or so screaming at one of them and caught the name of the "naughty" child.......none other than "Dodge." Yes, like the vehicle. I hope the child was not named after the parents patriotism to Dodge versus Ford or Chevy. *Cringe* Hopefully it's a nn....??

This is exactly why I refuse to shop at Walmart--the people in there are frightening. Sadly, I doubt this was a nickname. They'll probably thought it was a great name. Let's just hope the other kids aren't named Ford, Chevy and Mercedes.

I had a customer who's name is "Japan".  When I asked if that's where he's from, he said "No, that's where I was conceived."  Maybe this is something similar?!

My parents were going to name me after where I was conceived, but they didn't think that Backseat flowed well with our lastname.

I have a cousin who named his son Ford.  The kid is now 10 and awesome but stuck with that name for life.  

Same cousin and his new wife are expecting a baby in February - I think this wife has more common sense though and won't name it something stupid.
