I just ordered the Power Wheels Jeep Rubicon for DS's birthday.  It comes with a rechargeable 12volt battery.  But, I remembered you saying something about motorcycle batteries?  Could you point me in the right direction??

My DH bought a $20 motorcycle battery at Meijer, I believe.  Its one of the ones that you have to add the acid or whatever it is to it.  Then he bought a $20 or so charger for it.  It works perfectly and holds a charge for a long time.  Much better than the other battery. 

Does that help?  You may not need the motorcycle battery if it comes with one, but maybe keep it mind for when you need a new one or if you want a backup? 

I can ask DH for the exact name of the battery if you want.

I'll remember that if we need a new one!  The one it comes with says that it holds the charge for 1-3 hours of ride time.  So, we will see how far it gets us!

Sometimes you just know when you have a winner.

You know what Max is getting so far?  A Cabbage Patch doll.  We already have the car for him from Sam and he loves carrying dolls, so I said why not.  He's going to get a tool box set and maybe a Tonka truck or something, but I think the doll is going to be his favorite.

That's hilarious!  We have never had a Power Wheels, so it is perfect.  Although, I know DD will be all.over.it.  Such is life, I guess!  Now, what to do about Christmas...lol
